Analysis and Study of CPW-Fed Bow-Tie-Slot-Coupled Antenna

Abstract: We Use Ansoft HFSS to simulate coplanar waveguide (CPW) feeding butterfly slot antenna(CPW-Fed Bow-Tie-Slot) . Through the control of the parameter variation, the thickness of the substrate , width of the slit , length of CPW , frequency, etc ,we compared and analyzed return loss and obtained the change rules of the antenna performance. Based on the study results, this paper proposed a method to obtain reasonable set parameters and simple optimization.

“…In addition, the type of feeding is an effective feature for bandwidth characteristics of the antenna. Indeed there are some reported Bow-Tie antennas that they have fed by coaxial line (Daotie and Jun-Fa, 2012;Shi-Wei, 2013;Shi-Wei et al, 2008), coplanar waveguide (Hadarig et al, 2010;Wusheng et al, 2013) and stripline (Hao et al, 2013;Sayidmarie and Fadhel, 2013).…”
