“…For instance, mostly exchanged services include collaboration services, vessel details, location and voyage, intervention assets, incident history/event notification, identified risks, cargo and distributed search services. The CISE Data & Services Model is based on XSD (XML Schema Definition) accompanied by UML diagrams (Unified Modelling Language), providing the models for classes and subclasses, related to enumeration of authority and message and service core entities ( [11], [12], [13]).…”

In fact, AMSPM just completed a participation in EU H2020 project ANDROMEDA [6][7] [8] working on enhancing the CISE data and services models (eCISE) and conducting trial implementations. In the ANDROMEDA project, AMSPM participated in the Adriatic-Ionian trial with partners from Greece and Italy (Italian Navy, Greek Maritime Affairs and Insular Policy Ministry, Hellenic Police etc.)…”

“…The model is developed upon XSD (XML Schema Definition) which uses the UML diagrams (Unified Modelling Language) containing the models for Authority, Message and Service Core Entities, which are divided into enumerations and classes [6]. Specifically, the enhanced CISE Model (eCISE v.2.2.0) [7] was developed within Project ANDROMEDA (EU H2020) and extends the CISE features on the land domain adding some classes to specific events and categories related to land surveillance situations and activities ( [8], [9]).…”
