Analysing Capacity Factors for Urban Sustainability Transformations : The ‘Eco-capital Suwon’ in South Korea

Abstract: The nature of charge degrees-of-freedom distinguishes scenarios for interpreting the character of a second order magnetic transition at zero temperature, that is, a magnetic quantum critical point (QCP). Heavy-fermion systems are prototypes of this paradigm, and in those, the relevant question is where, relative to a magnetic QCP, does the Kondo effect delocalize their f-electron degrees-of-freedom. Herein, we use pressure-dependent Hall measurements to identify a finite-temperature scale Eloc that signals a c… Show more

“…As a result, more residents outside of Suwon have moved there, and the city has become younger, with the majority of the population in their 30s and 40s [36]. In addition, the city has developed housing planning sites in the Gwanggyo New Town (GNT) and Homaesil residence zones as a part of its plans to become a smart city [33]. Suwon is the capital and largest city of Gyeonggi-do, South Korea's most populous province surrounding Seoul, the national capital.…”

“…As part of the plan, 14 housing sites have been Suwon is the capital and largest city of Gyeonggi-do, South Korea's most populous province surrounding Seoul, the national capital. The total area is 121 km 2 with a population of 1.2 million people or 9.3% of the Gyeonggi population in 2022 [33]. Suwon has a master plan to better develop the city into a hub of education, research, and industry in the southern part of the capital region [34].…”
