Analyses of Pediatric Isolates of Cryptococcus neoformans from South Africa

Abstract: Compared to the incidence in adults, cryptococcosis is inexplicably rare among children, even in subSaharan Africa, which has the highest prevalence of coinfection with HIV and Cryptococcus neoformans.
