Analyse der Passgenauigkeit fünf anatomisch vorgeformter Klavikulaplattensysteme

Abstract: Although there was no complete congruency between the plates and the clavicle, all clavicle plates investigated in this study presented a reasonable anatomical shape. The 7‑hole VariAx Stryker plate with slight curvature showed the best anatomical fit. A low profile and optimized anatomical precontouring can minimize irritation of the surrounding soft tissues and should be considered in plate design and implant choice.

“…The VariAx locking plate has been designed 3-dimensionally by using CT-Scan-Database of 160 clavicles, what may improve the anatomical fit to most of the clavicles and so avoid the need for intraoperative bending and reduce the plate irritation. In a comparison study of 5 pre-contoured clavicle plates in 20 embalmed human clavicles, the VariAx plate showed the best anatomical fit of all investigated plates [18]. However, clinical results for this pre-shaped plate are missing.…”

“…Diese wurden der geschwungenen Form angepasst und tragen nun nicht mehr so stark auf. Allerdings ist die Form der Klavikula individuell stark unterschiedlich, sodass auch diese Platten nicht immer passgenau sind [14]. Ein Feinjustieren und Anbiegen ist auch heute meist erforderlich, um eine gute Passform zu erreichen (▶ Abb.…”
