Analiza Kvaliteta Vode Jezera Palić Postupkom Analize Glavnih Komponenti

Abstract: The principal component analysis (PCA) is a well established methodology used in all research fields to provide a more intelligent understanding of the investigated data. Accordingly, this paper introduces the application of this methodology for the evaluation of the water quality of Lake Palic. As a result of the selected approach we were able to draw meticulous conclusions and direct the impending research in a more rational direction.

“…After implementing an exhaustive analysis of the existing water quality data of Lake Palic, we concluded that it would be beneficial to conduct a short-term measuring campaign focusing on increased sampling frequency. Namely, regular samplings are performed monthly, suggesting there are 12 data sets each year for the selected locations [1,2,3]. As our previous research determined [1,2,3], this is not the case since, during the years, the monitored water quality parameters were known to be replaced.…”

As our previous research determined [1,2,3], this is not the case since, during the years, the monitored water quality parameters were known to be replaced. Furthermore, we identified missing data sets for numerous parameters [1].…”

“…This paper describes further research regarding the spatial water quality distribution along the shoreline of Lake Palic's fourth sector (Autonomous Province of Vojvodina, Republic of Serbia). Namely, after the previously conducted all-inclusive analysis of the existing monthly water quality data [1,2,3], the Authors concluded additional research could prove beneficial. Proper understanding of the gathered data highly depends on the quality of the measurements.…”
