The period of the COVID-19 pandemic which creates unrest in this family is the opposite of the goal of every family, which is to create a harmonious life. This is felt by the families of batik industry workers in Trusmi Village, who since the government issued psychological distancing rules have made the economic situation decrease drastically or even the economic routine has stopped so that they have difficulty in carrying out family functions and have the potential for disharmony in the family. This paper discusses how the families of batik industry workers understand the concept of intimate relationships, how the obstacles faced by families during the Covid-19 pandemic and how to build intimate relationships during the Covid-19 pandemic. This study uses a qualitative approach with a qualitative descriptive method. The results of this study are, first: the understanding of the families of batik industry workers related to the concept of intimate relationships, namely not all families have a clear understanding of the concept of intimate relationships, most informants associate it with family harmony. Second, there are 5 types of obstacles in the families of batik industry workers during the COVID-19 pandemic, namely unstable family financial conditions, poor emotional control, unequal division of roles, communication and boredom. Third, there are 5 efforts made by the families of batik industry workers to achieve intimate relationships within the family during the COVID-19 pandemic, namely improving ways of communicating, doing activities together, providing emotional support, a balanced role and increasing worship.
