Analisis Potensi Pembangkit Listrik Tenaga Angin PT. Lentera Angin Nusantara (LAN) Ciheras

Abstract: At this time fossil fuel is still widely used to produce electricity, where the fuel if it continues to use will be exhausted and hard to renew. Based on these problems, it is necessary to make a Renewable Energy Generator with a natural source of power and can be updated as a solution to the depletion of fossil fuels. So, in this study proposed design of PLTB system. From the design of PLTB system is done in PT. Lentera Angin Nusantara in Ciheras village, Cipatujah district, Tasikmalaya district, West Java.Un… Show more

“…No other academic study on the national or provincial potential of wind power was found to validate these numbers. Instead, both international [75][76][77] and Indonesian [78][79][80] research tends to focus more on local case studies. Even if Gernaat et al's [74] potential would be technically possible, the practical hurdles are very high given that 11% of Indonesia's available sea area would be needed for such a capacity.…”

“…Regarding wind power, both ESDM and academia agree that thorough field data is needed for more refined potentials, although the costs of acquisition are a hurdle [5,114,118,119]. This might explain why current research focuses more on local case studies since these cases can be studied more cost-effectively via simulations [76,79] or local on-site measurements [78,80]. These complications also apply to ocean energy research, as there are only a few data observation stations [101] and research is currently predominantly performed locally.…”

“…Wind refers to the air that moves because of the difference in pressure on the earth's surface Wind energy is alternative energy that has good prospects because it is always available in nature and is a clean and renewable energy source. The process of using wind power goes through two conversion stages, namely: the wind flow moves the rotor (propeller), which makes the rotor rotate according to the blowing wind, and the rotor rotation is connected to a generator so that electricity can be generated [8].…”
