Analisis Potensi Demand, Ability to Pay (Atp) Dan Willingness to Pay (Wtp) Batik Solo Trans (Bst) Koridor 6 Pada Sekolah

Abstract

Public transportation is mode of transportation that can be used by various groups of people in a city by paying the fare to use. Therefore, in this study, we conducted research on potential demand, ability to pay (ATP), or the ability to pay the fare, and willingness to pay (WTP), or willingness to pay the fare on the Batik Solo Trans (BST) bus on the corridor 6 service route in the city of Surakarta, which aims to determine the potential demand for BST corridor 6 passengers and also to design the appropriate fare for BST corridor 6 passengers and prospective BST corridor 6 passengers. The survey method was used in this research. The research data is in the form of primary and secondary data. Primary data was collected through surveys in schools. While the secondary data was obtained from schools, it was reviewed to obtain the population. This study uses a survey method of students conducted in schools traversed by BST Corridor 6. The results of the analysis of the survey show the total population of students at 4792 students, and the value of potential demand from BST corridor 6 is 3067 people, which is 64% of the total school student population on the BST corridor 6 service route. ATP and WTP values obtained from analysis based on the survey results, respectively, are Rp 466.57 and Rp 2,384.00.
