Analisis Perbandingan Perawatan Beton Terhadap Mutu Beton

Abstract

There are many factors that affect the strength of concrete. Most of them are the constituent materials as well as concrete maintenance. The purpose of concrete maintenance is to maintain the concrete in a predetermined condition after opening the formwork. With concrete maintenance, the strength of concrete is expected to approach or reach the planned strength in the mix design. This study aims to understand the effect of the treatment method on the plan concrete with 20 MPa and 30 MPa on the compressive strength of concrete. The test specimens in this test are cylinders having a diameter of 10 cm and a height of 20 cm. The compressive strength test is carried out when the concrete is 14 and 28 days old. concrete treatment methods are divided into 3 variations, namely soaking, watering, and without treatment. The strength or quality of concrete obtained from this study for 20 MPa concrete of age 28 is 9.74 MPa for the treatment method left, 11.44 MPa for the treatment method watered, and 16.39 MPa for the treatment method soaked. The compressive strength obtained from this study for 30 MPa concrete at the age of 28 days was 20.53 MPa for the left treatment method, 30.34 MPa for the watered treatment method, and 32.32 MPa for the soaked treatment method. Abstrak Terdapat banyak faktor yang mempengaruhi kekuatan beton. Sebagian besarnya adalah material penyusunnya serta perawatan beton. Tujuan dari pemeliharaan beton untuk memelihara beton dalam kondisi yang sudah ditetapkan setelah pembukaan bekisting. Dengan adanya perawatan beton, kekuatan beton diharapkan mendekati atau mencapai kekuatan rencana dalam perencanaan campuran atau mix design. Studi ini bertujuan untuk memahami pengaruh metode perawatan pada beton rencana dengan mutu 20 MPa dan mutu 30 MPa terhadap kuat tekan beton. Benda uji dalam pengujian ini berbentuk silinder yang memiliki diameter 10 cm dan tinggi 20 cm. Uji kuat tekan dilakukan saat beton berumur 14 dan 28 hari. metode perawatan beton dibedakan menjadi 3 variasi yaitu perendaman, penyiraman, dan tanpa perawatan. Besar kekuatan atau mutu beton yang diperoleh dari penelitian ini untuk beton mutu 20 MPa umur 28 adalah 9,74 MPa untuk metode perawatan dibiarkan, 11,44 MPa untuk metode perawatan disiram, dan 16,39 MPa untuk metode perawatan direndam. Besar kuat tekan yang diperoleh dari penelitian ini untuk beton mutu 30 MPa umur 28 hari adalah 20,53 MPa untuk metode perawatan dibiarkan, 30,34 MPa untuk metode perawatan disiram, dan 32,32 MPa untuk metode perawatan direndam.
