Pembentukan karakter siswa melalui sistem fullday school dapat dilihat dari tercapainya tujuan pendidikan dari sekolah itu sendiri dan hasil proses pembentukan karakter. Pembangunan karakter bangsa Indonesia dapat dilaksanakan bila ada kerjasama dari semua pihak untuk bisa membentuk manusia yang sempurna. Salah satu faktor yang dapat membentuk karakter seorang anak adalah orang tua. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui penerapan full day school sebagai penguatan pendidikan karakter untuk siswa sekolah dasar. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Metode analisis deskriptif kualitatif adalah menganalisis, menggambarkan, dan meringkas berbagai kondisi, situasi dari berbagai data yang dikumpulkan, mengkaji berbagai sumber ilmiah terutama dari artikel-artikel ilmiah yang dipublikasikan dalam berbagai jurnal ilmiah, kajian pustaka atau studi pustaka. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa full day school sebagai penguatan pendidikan karakter merupakan kunci penting dalam membentuk kepribadian siswa. Adanya full day school siswa lebih terbimbing dengan kegiatan pembiasaan, penguatan perilaku, ekstrakurikuler, dan penanaman nilai agama pada siswa, sehingga siswa lebih memiliki kegiatan produktif dan tidak memiliki waktu untuk melakukan penyimpangan sosial.

This research aims to develop wordless comic media as a speaking learning tool for fifth grade elementary school students. The development method used is Research and Development (R&D) with stages including preliminary study, planning, development, testing, evaluation and revision. Evaluation is carried out through observation, interviews, and speaking ability tests before and after using comic media. Revisions are carried out based on evaluation results to improve and improve the quality of comic media. The research results show that the use of wordless comic media can increase students' interest in learning to speak. Students demonstrate increased ability to convey ideas, understand context, and communicate effectively. This comic media also helps students who have difficulty understanding written texts. In conclusion, the development of wordless comic media can be an effective alternative in teaching speaking in fifth grade elementary school. Support from the teacher is needed in implementing this media so that it can provide maximum benefits for the student learning process.

This research investigates the application of the singing method in learning in class II of SD Negeri 35/I Tebing Tinggi with a focus on the teacher's efforts in creating a pleasant learning atmosphere and increasing student involvement. Qualitative research methods are carried out through observation, interviews and data analysis of learning using the singing method. The research results show that lesson planning is key in implementing this method, with teachers choosing songs that suit the characteristics of students and learning material, as well as changing song lyrics to suit the content of the material. In addition, the introduction of songs and the addition of simple movements become an integral part of the learning process. It was found that students showed a positive response to the singing method, became more active, enthusiastic, and did not feel pressured in learning. The novelty of this research lies in a creative approach to learning that attracts students' attention, increases their participation, and encourages better understanding of the material. The practical implication is that teachers need to pay attention to careful learning planning to implement the singing method effectively, thereby creating a positive learning environment and strengthening student learning outcomes.
