Abstract: This article shows the result of using the finite volume method to numerically simulate the thermal and fluid behavior of an air conditioning distribution system, using both structured and non-structured meshing. Initially, the mathematical model that rules the airflow through ducts was posed and the resulting system of equations was solved applying the k-ε turbulence model.
