At the elementary level, especially in elementary schools, a strong understanding of the learning material being taught is very important for students’ academic and cognitive development. One of the main subjects in the elementary school curriculum is Natural and Social Sciences (in Indonesia it is called IPAS). To design more effective science learning experiences, sophisticated and user-friendly assessment tools are necessary. In the digital era, technology-based applications can be an efficient and effective solution. Therefore, this research designed an innovative project entitled designing a hybrid E-Dian application to increase the effectiveness of IPAS learning in elementary schools. The E-Dian hybrid application was designed and developed using the prototyping method as a design approach. The prototyping method is an approach to product or system development that involves creating an initial model or prototype that can be used to test and illustrate the desired idea, function, or design before creating the final product. This research aims to design a hybrid E-Dian application using the prototyping method. The development process involves designing a system based on user needs, which is then tested according to the system design. The test results show that the E-dian application system design has been proven to be good and in accordance with the specified needs. Keywords: design, prototyping method, Hybrid, E-dian, IPAS

In the rapidly developing digital era, information systems have become an important element in increasing efficiency and effectiveness in various activities. As an important part of public services, queuing services withstand significant challenges in managing rapid population growth. Long waiting times and inefficient queue management can result in user dissatisfaction, increased workload for service providers, and potentially harm productivity. This research aims to overcome these challenges by identifying, pivoting, and creating an innovative information system integrated with the popular cross-platform application, WhatsApp. The main focus is automating queue service management to increase efficiency and user convenience. The resulting system is expected to provide significant changes in public services, reduce waiting times, and make queue management easier. The Unified Modeling Language (UML) methodology is used in the design of this system, providing systematic guidance to achieve these goals. In this research, we identify problems, user needs, functional requirements, and non-functional systems, including queue registration, queue management, user management, and service management. The results include use case diagrams, activity diagrams, sequence diagrams, and class diagrams, which provide a detailed overview of various aspects of the system. The results of this research can serve as a guide for application developers and demonstrate the benefits of UML in designing complex information systems.

Media untuk membaca dan menghafalkan Surah Al-Qur’an diharapkan dapat berinovasi dalam mengikuti perkembangan era globalisasi. Penelitian ini ditujukan untuk para penghafal Surah Al-Qur’an atau santri agar dapat terbantu dalam menghafal hafalannya, dengan menggunakan Metode Takrir dimana Metode Takrir merupakan salah satu metode menghafal Surah Al-Qur’an yang dinilai cocok dan dapat diijmplementasikan kedalam Smartphone Android. Penelitian ini diharapkan agar para penghafal dan santri yang memiliki smartphone dapat terbantu dalam membaca dan menghafal surah-surah dengan dibantu pengembangan fitur concealable text dan pemutar suara. Aplikasi ini juga memiliki materi yang sesuai dengan materi terkini untuk dapat membantu mereka untuk mempercepat proses pemahaman hafalannya. Berdasarkan hasil pengujian, Aplikasi Hafalan ini memiliki persentase kelayakan mencapai 92,06%.
