Students’ literacy and creative thinking skills in the learning process are not optimal. Students only master science concepts without communicating and solving problems in everyday life. It happens because the learning activities applied by the teacher are less innovative and varied. This study aims to analyze the impact of revised Bloom’s Taxonomy-oriented learning activities on creative thinking skills and scientific literacy. The study had quasi-experimental in a pretest-posttest control group design. The sample of this study was 60 students; 30 students in the experimental class and 30 students in the control class. Data collection methods used were tests and questionnaires. The instrument used was a test instrument in description of 10 questions to test critical thinking skills, a questionnaire instrument consisting of 30 statements, and a questionnaire instrument to measure scientific literacy skills. Data analysis methods used were quantitative descriptive and inferential statistical. The Manova analysis obtained 0.00 0.05. Based on the analysis results, effective learning activities develop creative thinking skills and scientific literacy, either partially or simultaneously. Even though it affects creative thinking skills and scientific literacy, the strongly influenced variable is creative thinking skill, which is indicated by a significant increase in the mean value. Thus, learning activities based on Bloom’s Taxonomy become learning recommendations to develop creative thinking skills and scientific literacy.

Purpose: This research aims to analyze the effect of the ethnoscience-based course review horay learning model on the understanding of cultural meaning understanding and science process skills of students at the elementary school level. Design/Methodology/Approach: This study is quasi-experimental in nature, with a nonequivalent post-test only control group design. The sample of this study comprised 29 students in the experimental group and 28 students in the control group, making a total sample size of 57 participants. Data was collected using a test method consisting of 10 essay items to measure cultural meaning understanding, and a questionnaire consisting of 30 statements to assess science process skills. Inferential statistical analysis and quantitative descriptive analysis were the two methods used for data analysis. Findings: The research findings showed that the ethnoscience-based course review horay learning model had a significant effect on both cultural meaning understanding and science process skills, both simultaneously and partially. This was demonstrated by a significant difference in mean values and sig value<0.05 for both cultural meaning understanding and science process skills between the experimental and control groups. Conclusion: The findings also suggested that science process skills were more strongly influenced by the ethnoscience-based course review horay model compared to the understanding of cultural meaning, which is indicated by the larger mean difference observed in the former. Therefore, it is recommended that the ethnoscience-based course review horay learning model be utilized as an innovative learning model to address the issue of low levels of both cultural meaning understanding and science process skills among elementary school students.

The study aims to examine the effect of a causalitic learning model that integrates character and local wisdom on problem solving ability (PSA) physics and environmental conservation literacy (ECL) development of students. The type of research used was quasi-experimental with an untreated control group design with pretest-and posttest. The population is all class X students of SMAN 1 Terara, totaling 206 people. The research sample was taken using purposive sampling technique so that 31 students from X MIPA 6 class were selected as the experimental group and 31 students from X MIPA 3 class as the control group. The experimental group was treated in the form of a causalitic learning model integrated with character and local wisdom, while the control group was treated in the form of a conventional learning model. The PSA instrument consists of tests in the form of descriptive questions taking into account validity, reliability, level of difficulty of the questions, as well as the differential power of the questions and ECL development tests in the form of questionnaires. The average PSA value obtained in the experimental group was 79,87 and in the control group was 72,39. The average score for the development of ECL in the experimental group was 80,00 and that of the control group was 42,58. The data of both classes are homogeneous and normally distributed. Data on PSA and development of ECL were analyzed using t-test polled variance with a significant level of 5%. The results of the PSA analysis were obtained at 4,32 and the results of the ECL development analysis were obtained at 10,94. Thus, it can be concluded that there is an influence of the integrated causalitic learning model of character and local wisdom on PSA and the development of ECL.
