Statistical literacy skills in the era of society 5.0 are needed to overcome various problems. But interest in studying statistics is still relatively low. Thus, the learning process must be able to synergize between learning materials (content), learning methods (pedagogy), and learning media (technologi). The moodle-learning management system is one of these advances in education. If the moodle-learning management System is appropriately constructed to facilitate the usage of many platforms, users can utilize it as a learning environment with any device. This study aims to observe statistical literacy skills through the moodle-learning management system. Participants were selected from among sophomore students at the Indonesian Institute of Education: 32 people made up the control group, while 32 made up the experimental group. The results demonstrate that, at a significance level of 0.05, the experimental group’s statistical literacy abilities are substantially different from those of the control group. Students in the experimental group had literacy abilities that were 90.31% greater than those in the control group, which had literacy abilities that were 67.47%. These findings suggest that students’ statistical literacy skills are impacted by the Moodle learning management system.

Statistical literacy is important for students because students will be exposed to their roles as producers and consumers of data. This study describes the errors of 8th-grade students in solving statistical literacy problems based on Newman's perspective. Two students of 8th-grade students at SMPN 6 Bondowoso who made the most errors were subjects in this study. This is a qualitative descriptive study through literacy problems, documentation, and interviews. The data were analyzed based on Newman's perspective and the guidelines for answering statistical literacy questions. The results showed that there were four errors in working on statistical literacy problems were (1) misunderstanding the problem, did not write down the information in the problems; (2) transformation error, the subject incorrectly the arithmetic operation used; (3) process skill error, the subject didn’t the calculation correctly. In addition, in this error the subject did not properly carry out the settlement procedure; and (4) errors in writing the final answer, the subject incorrectly write the final answer. The cause the subject makes errors is because they are not careful and do not understand the questions given. For this reason, teachers need to familiarize their students with solving statistical literacy problems. In addition, for students who have difficulty solving literacy problems, the teacher can provide scaffolding.

Loss of specific or general knowledge and skills, commonly referred to as ‘learning loss,’ continues to be a concern in Indonesia. This research aims to analyze the relationship between economic factors and the incidence of learning loss among students. The primary objective is to gain a deeper understanding of how economic aspects can impact students’ learning outcomes. The research employed an ex-post facto research design, which involves data collection after the event being studied. The study involved 30 fifth-grade elementary school students and 30 parents as participants. Data was collected through methods such as observation, interviews, questionnaires, and tests. The data analysis approach in this research assumes linearity. The research results highlight a significant correlation between parents’ economic conditions and learning loss, underscoring a critical issue in the education sector. With a significance value (Sig value) less than 0.05, it can be concluded that parents’ economic backgrounds play a pivotal role in influencing the extent of learning loss. Learning loss, often attributed to factors like students participating in family economic activities such as forest labor or fishing, can have adverse effects on the quality of education and human resource development. Consequently, addressing this issue requires concrete actions, including providing support to affected students and fostering a more inclusive educational environment.
