ANALISIS GUGUS FUNGSI PADA TiO2/BIOCHAR DENGAN SPEKTROSKOPI FTIR (FOURIER TRANSFORM INFRARED)

Abstract: Pembuatan TiO2 didoping dengan biochar telah dilakukan, variasi doping yang diberikan adalah sebesar 0%, 1%, 2%, 3% dan 4%. Sampel TiO2/biochar kemudian dikarakterisasi dengan FTIR untuk dapat dianalisis gugus fungsi seluruh sampel. Berdasarkan spektrum FTIR yang diperoleh bahwa pada seluruh sampel muncul gugus fungsi khas TiO2 yaitu Ti-O pada puncak serapan sekitar 700 – 950 cm-1. “…As stated by Fadli et al [16], PES polymer does not have O-H bonds in its structure, therefore, the presence of O-H structure could be obtained from the use of aquades as a coagulant during the manufacturing process or due to the sample being analyzed in a wet state using FTIR. Furthermore, the presence of Ti-O vibrational bonds is a characteristic of TiO2 [20].
