Analisis Deskripsi Sikap Kemandirian Belajar Siswa Pada Mata Pelajaran Fisika Kelas X MIPA SMAN1 Bungo

This study investigates the impact of social media use on adolescents' mental well-being by considering the mediating role of social support and media use behavior. A cross-sectional survey method was used to collect data from 500 adolescents aged 13-18 years. The results of multiple linear regression analysis show that social media use is negatively correlated with adolescents' mental well-being. These findings indicate that adolescents who use social media with high intensity tend to experience decreased mental well-being due to lack of social support and unhealthy usage behavior. The implications of this research highlight the need for interventions that strengthen offline social support and educate adolescents about healthy social media use behaviors. The novelty of this research lies in its interdisciplinary approach which combines the perspectives of psychology, sociology and information technology to investigate complex phenomena developing in the digital era. These findings make an important contribution to our understanding of adolescent well-being in the digital era and encourage greater attention to appropriate interventions to protect the mental health of adolescents using social media.

Exploring Teachers' Efforts to Develop Students' Interests and Talents in Elementary Schools

This research aims to explore the efforts made by teachers in developing students' interests and talents at school, using a qualitative approach and case studies. Through observations, interviews and document analysis, data was collected from teachers and students involved in the interest and talent development program. The results of the analysis show that there are four main efforts made by teachers, namely creating supportive conditions, developing interest in achievement, increasing student persistence, and implementing differentiated education. Teachers play an active role in motivating, guiding and involving students in various competitions to actualize their interests and talents. These findings provide a new contribution to the understanding of strategies for developing students' interests and talents in the educational environment. The implication of this research is the need for greater support from schools and parents in creating a conducive environment for the development of students' interests and talents. Apart from that, it is also necessary to pay attention to the importance of implementing differentiated education to meet the diverse learning needs of students. Thus, this research provides a more comprehensive view of how teachers can play an effective role in developing students' potential in schools.

Analysis of the Ability Read Short Stories of Elementary School Students in Batanghari Regency

This study examines the reading ability of elementary school students in Batanghari Regency, focusing on their comprehension of short stories. The methodology involved administering reading comprehension tests to a sample of students, followed by analysis using both quantitative and qualitative approaches. Qualitative research aims to understand and explain phenomena in depth through descriptive and interpretive analysis, while quantitative research aims to measure and test relationships between variables using statistical methods and data collection in the form of numbers. The results indicate varying levels of proficiency among the students, with factors such as socio-economic background and access to educational resources playing significant roles. Furthermore, the study highlights the importance of early intervention programs and targeted literacy initiatives in improving reading skills among elementary school students.
