Análisis de metales pesados en el embalse Cerrillos de Ponce, Puerto Rico

Abstract

The Cerrillos reservoir is located in the city of Ponce, is one of the most important reservoirs in the southern area of Puerto Rico. The purpose of this research was to analyze the presence and concentration of heavy metals in Cerrillos de Ponce Reservoir as part of a monitoring of water quality. For this investigation a simple sampling was made in threepoints of the Reservoir Cerrillos de Ponce for a period of nine months that were identified like zones A, B and C.
