Show more

“…A detailed review of applications has been exposed in [63]. The main challenge of adopting a randomized algorithm is due to the curse of dimensionality [28]. To overcome this limitation, the proposed numerical strategy relies on an adaptive surrogate model technique to speed this process up, the so-called Monte Carlo intersite Voronoi (MiVor) scheme [24].…”

“…Gómez and Álvarez define reversibility in the context of control theory and describe two types: strong and weak reversibility. A system is weakly reversible if the final state of its trajectory can recover the initial state in a finite time and with an admissible action of control.…”

“…As a result, the designed trajectory is very dangerous to follow, because any disturbance can affect the process and violates the constraint. The use of controllers should help to follow the trajectory, but, with little room for maneuverability, the control will have some problems to fulfill the regulation task 27,28 . This paper proposes to work with a different paradigm, and use state controllability concepts into the objective cost function to obtain a robust reference trajectory with control purpose.…”
