Abstract:As abelhas indígenas sem ferrão, também chamadas de meliponíneos, são abelhas sociais, encontradas em regiões tropicais e subtropicais, como na América Latina e Central, Índia, Austrália, África e Ásia, (MICHENER, 2007).
