Introduction: Knowledge of Brazilian scientists profile is important to understand the factors that influence the behavior of those interested in developing science. Objective: To outline the profile of Brazilian physiotherapist researchers, permanent, or collaborator professors of PhD programs in physiotherapy. Methods: Study of documentary analysis with scientometric techniques on physiotherapist data in Brazilian doctors associated professors in PhD programs. To identify the professors, the Sucupira and Lattes Platforms were used, and the research areas were categorized according to COFFITO. Data on the research area, the number of orientations, publications and impact factor average (JCR) were analyzed by 1-way ANOVA test (p < 0.05), and a collaboration network was built using Gephi 0.9.1 software. Results: Nine institutions of higher education in Brazil have a PhD in physiotherapy. A total of 119 professors are associated with UFMG (20.2%), UFSCAR (17.6%), UFRN (13.4%), and UNINOVE (10.9%). The median number of doctors graduated by the professors was 1.0 (0.0 -6.0) and in publications in the period was 4.6 (2.4 -8.4). The main study designs were observational 71 (59.7%), and the main research area was neurofunctional 25 (21.0%). The collaboration between UFSCAR and UFMG professors is strengthened. Conclusion: There are few specific doctoral programs for physiotherapists in Brazil. The majority of them are concentrated in the southeast region, and the professor staff have very heterogeneous characteristics related to the duration of the programs, the nature of the institution, or the affiliation of the professor.

This study aims to analyze the intellectual foundation of the literature on knowledge organization published from 1972 to 2018 by authors enrolled in the Research Productivity Fellowship from Conselho Nacional de Desenvolvimento Científico e Tecnológico, in Brazil. The corpus of analysis is composed of 166 papers indexed in Base de Dados Referencial de Artigos de Periódicos em Ciência da Informação, which is a database that gathers the scientific literature published in Information Science journals in Brazil. It is an exploratory study that uses citation analysis as the methodological procedure, through author co-citation analysis and author bibliographic coupling. Fujita is identified as the most productive author, with 18 articles. Dahlberg is the most cited author, with 53 citations. The highest frequency of author co-citation is between Hjørland and Dahlberg; Tálamo and Kobashi. They are the seminal authors to the Brazilian scientists studied in this paper. The strongest relationships in the author bibliographic coupling network are between Lara and Bufrem, Lara and Guimarães, and Bufrem and Fujita. They cited 9 authors in common in the papers analyzed in this research. The conclusion is that there is an influence of European literature among the scientists addressed in this study. The results indicate the possibility of developing diachronic studies on the continuing influences of cited authors, especially from seminal authors, to analyze their permanence or transience over time.

As bolsas são distribuídas, segundo alguns autores, aos pesquisadores que constituem a elite da produção científica no país, pois, além de outros critérios, os bolsistas devem dedicar-se ao cumprimento dos propósitos constantes nos projetos de pesquisa, mantendo atividades acadêmicocientíficas, oficialmente vinculadas a instituições de pesquisa e ensino (BUFREM;SOBRAL;CAFÉ et. al., 2011) As bolsas de produtividade em pesquisa são classificadas em 3 níveis: nível 2 (PQ2), nível 1 (PQ1) e nível sênior (PQ-Sr), em que o nível 2 representa o menor nível de excelência e o nível sênior representa o maior nível de excelência.…”

O artigo tem como objetivo investigar a genealogia acadêmica dos pesquisadores bolsistas de produtividade em pesquisa do Conselho Nacional de Desenvolvimento Científico e Tecnológico, do nível 1 (PQ1-CNPq) em Ciência da Informação (CI). Assim, espera-se mapear a propagação do conhecimento através do pesquisador/orientador, além de evidenciar a contribuição dos pesquisadores na formação de recursos humanos para a área. Adota como procedimentos metodológicos: identificação dos bolsistas de produtividade em pesquisa em CI; coleta de dados na Plataforma Lattes e na Plataforma Acácia; análise e apresentação das árvores genealógicas acadêmicas dos pesquisadores. Os resultados obtidos demonstraram que os PQ1-CNPq em CI orientaram 627 pesquisadores, tiveram 1.075 descendentes e linhagem acadêmica de quarta geração. Foram identificados também os ascendentes acadêmicos dos pesquisadores bolsistas, destacando aqueles ancestrais acadêmicos que mais contribuíram para a formação das gerações de pesquisadores da CI brasileira.
