Anaesthesia during Carotid Endarterectomy and Urinary Neopterin

Abstract: Recent systematic reviews of randomized controlled trials show that the rate of postoperative complications after carotid endarterectomy (CEA) was not significantly different between operations performed under general anesthesia (GA) or local anesthesia (LA).
