An updated review of the new hadron states

Abstract: The past decades witnessed the golden era of hadron physics. Many excited open heavy flavor mesons and baryons have been observed since 2017. We shall provide an updated review of the recent experimental and theoretical progresses in this active field. Besides the conventional heavy hadrons, we shall also review the recently observed open heavy flavor tetraquark states X(2900) and Tcc(3875) as well as the hidden heavy flavor multiquark states X(6900), Pcs(4459), Zcs(3985), Zcs(4000), and Zcs(4220). We will als… Show more

“…tetraquark or hadrocharmonium states, see Refs. [109][110][111][112][113][114][115][116][117] for review. A complete spectrum for hadronic molecules seems to be emergent and could be nicely organized by heavy quark spin and flavor symmetries [118].…”

“…The parameters of resonances from low to high excitation are extracted with continuous improvement of accuracy. Herein we briefly outline the essentials of the framework, in particular the main feature of technique and reaction kinematics, but leave the theories and models of hadron structure into other comprehensive reviews [109][110][111][112][113][114][115][116][117]. .…”

“…It is becoming more evident that QCD hadrons containing one or more heavy charm or bottom quarks can permit more complicated structures than those predicted simply from the relativistic quark model. Such examples of exotic states in the charm sector are the experimental discoveries of various tetraquarks and pentaquarks [1][2][3] (see [4] for a recent review). Lattice QCD is in an ideal place to investigate the spectrum of QCD from first principles, and having well-behaved heavy-quark prescriptions are of significant importance.…”
