Abstract:Myocardial non-compaction (NC) is a rare genetically heterogeneous cardiomyopathy which is characterized by excessively prominent ventricular trabeculations with deep intertrabecular recesses. It is commonly believed to be due to an intrauterine arrest of the endomyocardial morphogenesis.
