An Unusual Case of a Rare Disease: PJP Infection in Adult T-Cell Lymphoma

Abstract: Adult T-cell leukemia-lymphoma (ATL) is a rare human T-lymphotropic virus, type I (HTLV-1)-associated disease occurring in 0.5 cases per 100,000 people in the United States . Common presenting clinical features include: generalized lymphadenopathy, hypercalcemia, lytic bone lesions, and skin. Respiratory manifestations are less common (1).
