An uncommon case of placental histopathology with antenatal fetal death under new coronavirus infection

Abstract: Since the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic, there have been a number of studies related to the impact of SARS-CoV-2 on the course of pregnancy and fetus condition. As observed, the placentas of women who have had a new coronavirus infection often contain more villous agglutination and subchorionic thrombi than placentas in SARS-CoV-2-negative women.
