“…Early Neoproterozoic detrital zircon ages with magmatic origin were reported from paragneisses in the Hualong Group (891 ± 9 Ma, Xu et al, 2007;910 ± 7 Ma, Yu et al, 2012;894-985 Ma, Yan et al, 2015). In the past two decades, various kinds of high performance high temperature superconducting (HTS) filters have been constructed and the HTS filters and their front-end subsystems have been successfully applied in many fields. The HTS filters with small insertion loss, narrow bandwidth, flat in-band group delay, deep out-of-band rejection, and steep skirt slope are reviewed. Novel HTS filter design technologies, including those in high power handling filters, multiband filters and frequency tunable filters, are reviewed, as well as the all-HTS integrated front-end receivers. The successful applications to various civilian fields, such as mobile communication, radar, deep space detection, and satellite technology, are also reviewed.

Since the discovery of superconductivity in 1911, new materials have been discovered, n ew mechanisms revealed, and new theories developed. At the same time, remarkable achievements have been made in the applications of superconductor. Among all the applications, microwave filters and microwave receiver frontend sub -systems, which benefit from the small surface resistance of the superconductor materials, have attracted intensive interests all over the world, and great progress has been made in their applications. Our group has been devoting to the related research and made great results in this area for a long time. In this review, we will introduce a new design method for high temperature superconductor (HTS) filters, and discuss the applications of HTS filters and sub -systems in mobile communications, meteorological radars, radio astronomy, satellite application and other areas, along with the researches performed by our group in recent years.
