“…Early Neoproterozoic detrital zircon ages with magmatic origin were reported from paragneisses in the Hualong Group (891 ± 9 Ma, Xu et al, 2007;910 ± 7 Ma, Yu et al, 2012;894-985 Ma, Yan et al, 2015). Zircon U-Pb ages of 884 ± 9 Ma from a meta-volcanics in the Hualong Group (He et 2011) and 750 ± 30 Ma from a gneissose granite that intruded into the Hualong Group were also reported (Wan et al, 2000), which constrain the protolith formation age of the Hualong Group.
