An Overview of Physical Phenomena Involved in the Laser Powder Directed Energy Deposition Process

Abstract: Laser Powder Directed Energy Deposition (LP-DED) is an Additive Manufacturing process in which a laser beam is used to generate a melt pool onto a substrate.
