Abstract: Lung cancer is characterised by unregulated cell growth. The most prevalent cancer killer worldwide is lung cancer. Lung cancer diagnoses and deaths are rising worldwide. Males and females over 70 have the highest lung cancer risk. Since 50% of lung cancer patients acquire a new cough, smokers or former smokers should be concerned.
