Abstract: Neonatal sepsis is a clinical syndrome mainly associated with a bacterial infection leading to severe clinical manifestations that could be associated with fatal sequalae. According to the time of onset, neonatal sepsis is categorized as early- (EOS) or late-onset sepsis (LOS).
