An online application of sensate focus to treat sexual desire discrepancy in couples: A pilot study

Abstract: The present study examined the effectiveness of a sex therapy application for couples struggling with sexual desire discrepancy. Participants (n = 30) completed eight weeks of the intervention consisting of psychoeducation, sensate focus, and communication exercises with their partner. The results showed that after eight weeks, participants reported being more sexually satisfied and their sexual functioning had improved.
