An investigation of the interaction of trialkyllead compounds with humic acids

Abstract: The combination of different lead compounds with humic acids is investigated using paper chromatography and atomic absorption spectroscopy. The data suggest that alkyllead compounds have lower binding ability than inorganic lead, and that carboxyl groups are the principial complexing sites for the investigated lead derivatives.
