“…The present study examined internal consistency (through Cronbach's alphas and Omega coefficients) and test-retest reliability to demonstrate that the Persian-C19P-S had good stability (via ICC coefficients). For the C19P-S and all of its subscales, all Cronbach's alpha and Omega coefficients were higher than 0.70, demonstrating good reliability and similar to reported results of the original scale (0.95) [13], Korean (0.93) [41], Portuguese (0.92) [42], Turkish (0.92) [49], Indonesian (0.90) [43], Arabic (0.92) [40], United States (0.71-0.79) [9], European countries (0.93) [11], Nigeria (0.89) [44], and Japanese (90) [45]. Also, test-retest reliability coefficients calculated by ICC coefficients were higher than 0.70 for the scale and its subscales, confirming the good stability of the scale.…”

“…As a result of the study, a moderate positive correlation was found between age and the total loneliness score; however, no significant correlation was found between the total coronaphobia score and age (13). Karaaslan et al in a study in which they investigated the potential risk factors associated with coronaphobia in adults, no significant correlation was found between the C19P-S scores and age (14). In a study examining the level of coronaphobia and related factors of 736 nurses working in health centers treating patients with COVID-19 in the Philippines, a positive correlation was found between the age of the nurses and their coronavirus anxiety levels (15).…”

“…Single patients' C19P-S psychosomatic subgroup scores were sig-nificantly higher than those of married patients (17). In a study investigating coronaphobia risk factors in adult patients, female sex, being married, having a chronic illness, staying at home, and accompanying sleep disorders were associated with high coronaphobia scores (14). Abdelghani et al investigated the factors affecting the level of coronaphobia among physicians.…”

“…According to some studies, shift workers have also been linked to other side effects, such as depression, sleep deprivation, lack of concentration, and an increased frequency of certain cancers, including breast cancer ( 13 ). Sleep is a natural state of mind and body corresponding to reduced muscle activities and interactions with surroundings ( 14 ). A person's sleep duration determines sleep quality based on the sleep pattern.…”
