An investigation of advanced fuel injection schemes for scramjet combustion

Abstract: The objective of this investigation is to compare and evaluate the cold flow mixing effectiveness of two popular fuel injection schemes for scramjet combustion; strut and ramp injectors. The performance evaluation is based on a combination of Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) and experimental measurements.
