An Introduction to Allergy and Its Treatment

Abstract: SUMMARY This review is intended to acquaint veterinarians with current concepts of allergy and to rationalise some of the measures presently employed in the treatment of allergic diseases. Both immediate and delayed types of hypersensitivity reactions are described, and a brief classification of antigens and anti‐bodies is included.
