An interesting case of anemia with jaundice

Abstract: Hemoglobinopathies are haematalogical disorders that afflict millions of individuals worldwide. HbE is a hemoglobin variation caused by a mutation in the β globin gene that results in the substitution of glutamic acid for lysine at position 26 of the β globin gene.
