An Integrated Project Management System for Facilitating Knowledge Learning

Abstract: Numerous difficulties and problems are associated with learning in a project. To tackle these problems, in this paper, an integrated project management model is constructed for facilitating knowledge learning. First, the depth of a professional or management skill is defined and evaluated using the analytic hierarchical procedure. A project cannot start until the depth of every necessary skill reaches a certain level. There is also stepwise increase in the scores of successive projects. A systematic procedure … Show more

“…For future work we suggest the development of an additional module which allows the self-learning of risk profiles; in other words, the system should be able to suggest new risk profiles to the user based on information regarding the unknown risk profiles, which are constantly identified by the system. Approaches based on knowledge learning similar to those presented by Chen and Wang (2012) and by Sanin and Szczerbicki (2006) or data mining approaches may be possible ways to conceptualize this self-learning module.…”

“…These are in essence the known areas of data identified in Table 2 with the unknown needs requiring push dissemination. Figure 1 shows the need for Knowledge champions work to support technology enablement and the practice of KM in the firm whilst also championing the role of knowledge in lessons learnt (Zuber-Skerritt, 2001) learning from practice, feedback and improving performance (Chen, & Wang, 2012).. When applied in this setting the data flower includes aspects shown in Figure 1.…”
