An Integrated Decision-Making Approach Based on Pythagorean Fuzzy Sets to analyze the wearable app issues

Abstract

In recent years, there has been an explosion in the popularity of wearable applications (wearable apps). However, to this day, relatively few research have been conducted to investigate the issues that are presented by wearable apps. Prior research has shown that user evaluations may provide a wealth of information that can be utilized to better identify quality concerns and assist app developers create higher quality wearable apps. In light of this, the purpose of this article is to mine user evaluations in order to get an understanding of the consumer concerns about wearable apps. In this paper, fifteen issues related to wearable apps are analyzed and discussed. In this paper, fifteen wearable apps issues have been identified. Afterwards we used the DEMATEL approach (Decision Making Trial and Evaluation Laboratory) to examine and classify the issues with wearable apps. Initially, numerous experts evaluate the direct relation among the issues in wearable apps. Pythagorean fuzzy number (PFN) are used to represent the evaluation of outcomes and linguistic terms are converted into PFN. After that issues are classified in group of cause and effect based on DEMATEL method. And results are compared with other variants of DEMATEL including Pythagorean fuzzy DEMATEL and Rough z number DEMATEL. Comparative analysis indicates that Pythagorean Fuzzy DEMATEL is best approach to analyze the relationship among issues in wearable apps. The conclusion of this study undoubtedly aids the apps/software business in successfully identifying the challenges on which experts and project managers should concentrate.
