: Software Quality is the key priority of today’s marketplace and software development organization to which a system, technique, or factor meets particular requirements and conditions. Soft computing techniques play a vital role in developing software engineering applications. In this paper, we have identified five parameters: Reliability, Efficiency, Usability, Maintainability, and Portability for accessing the level of quality of software. A fuzzy logic-based intelligent identification methodology has been proposed to access the quality of particular software-based on five parameters. The proposed identification scheme takes these five parameters as input and predicts the quality of the software using the fuzzy rule base which is generated using various studies. As this scheme takes five inputs and each input is divided into three regions i.e. ‘Low’, ‘Medium’, ‘High’ and thus a total of 35 i.e. 243 rules has been generated to analyze the software quality. Furthermore, Mamdani fuzzy model has been used as the reference model. To show the effectiveness of the proposed methodology, simulation results have been performed in MATLAB, which shows that the software's quality closely matches with the actual one.

Software engineering is an approach pre-owned by the researchers and innovators to reduce the ratio of crisis in software. Therefore the designer/ innovator can readily design a valuable quality software, by using various approaches like Component-Based Software Engineering (CBSE). The components quality has a high impact on the quality of a whole application. Several quality models for CBSE and Component-Off-The-Shelf (COTS) are available in the literature so this paper presents various quality models with defined parameters for quality prediction. Several models, like, Boehm's, McCall's, FURPS, ISO 9126, Dromey's, have been developed for quality evaluation using hierarchically related characteristics of quality indicators. Over the years, some models have been developed for structuring software quality for software. Nowadays, researchers are showing their passion for innovation in the area of software reliability. The reliability of a software component relies on the following factors like the reliability of services, environment frequency so finally this paper presents the analysis and assessment of software quality models and their quality parameters for CBS by going through various researchers and practitioners' work.

We propose in this paper a conceptual framework for the hierarchical decomposition of Non-Functional Requirements (NFRs) from the business process level to the web service level. This framework seeks to reduce the dependence on a particular IT expert's knowledge by simplifying the dialog between the business and IT areas. The proposed framework relies on a structure of NFRs interdependence. The main reference was the ISO/IEC 25010 Product Quality Model, extended by additional software quality models and particular QoS attributes. This framework is accompanied by an extensive dictionary of non-functional requirements for both business processes and web services that can serve as a reference for researchers and industry practitioners. We assume that orchestrating web services to run business processes requires a rigorous definition of the functional requirements and NFRs of these web services. Web service NFRs are often defined as Quality of Service (QoS) attributes, which is done at the implementation level by IT teams. The definition of QoS attributes should consider the business process NFRs, since misinterpretations of web service NFRs may affect the behavior of the web services and hence achieving the business goals. The approaches proposed so far in the literature are still heavily dependent on an IT expert's knowledge to identify the appropriate QoS attributes required to meet particular business process NFRs. However, defining appropriate QoS attributes without reference to business process-level NFRs may be a costly, time-consuming task.
