An Innovative Approach for Face Recognition Using Raspberry Pi

Abstract: The biometrics is now a days trending security method used in the industries. The face recognition is one way of applying biometrics, and liveness detection is add on security to the system which will help the security system to identify between the fake and the real identities. In this case the fake identities are photographs as printed media. And mobile or tablet as display devices. The entire system is developed on the raspberry pi board because of it efficiency with powerful architecture and theportability. Show more

“…Deep learning technology has made significant changes in the field of Artificial Intelligence by generating good results, especially in pattern recognition (Srihari et al , 2020). A conventional CNN structure includes a convolution layer that extracts characteristics from the input using the filters it applies, a pooling layer that reduces calculation efficiency, and the neural network's completely connected layer.…”

“…Testing the components to be used using a multimeter is carried out at this stage. Testing using Raspberry Pi monitoring is carried out by looking at the output of each component connected to Raspberry via USB co-ops [13]. Testing using a multimeter includes testing each component's input and output voltages.…”
