An Index of Fame?

Abstract: This paper discusses the presentation of fame that can be identified through popular search terms. These terms reveal how the rapidly shifting interest in individual identities of ‘fame’ are cast against a continuous sequence of expected and unexpected events including movie releases, annual holidays, murders and terrorist attacks. The central claim of this paper is that fame is continuously reconstituted across a wide spectrum of cultural experiences and actions. Fame is attached to individuals as a personifi… Show more

“…Since faculty, student-support staff, and coaches are also users of such systems, it is important to understand their experiences as well. Fletcher et al (2016) have also noted these deficits in literature regarding student-success coaching, which they include under a larger category of interventions they have labeled “Integrated Planning and Advising for Student Success (iPASS)” (p. 1) which rely heavily on the technology-mediated advising systems Kalamkarian and Karp (2017) researched. Fletcher et al (2016) reinforces the literature review in this study as well as makes clear that the limited literature lacks a common language, generally accepted best practices, and empirical evidence.…”

“…The minimum energy problems () and () were solved numerically by the conjugate gradient method. [ 33 ] The system of equations of motion () was integrated numerically using the velocity form of the Verlet difference scheme. [ 34 ] All the simulation programs were written in FORTRAN.…”

“…The periodic boundary conditions were applied in the three directions. All the structures were rstly relaxed with the conjugate gradient (CG) algorithm, 50 and then the constant-pressure constanttemperature (NPT) ensemble was employed for simulations at given temperatures. Particle-particle particle-mesh (PPPM) method was applied to minimize errors in long range terms coulombic.…”
