“…The full-width at half-maximum (FWHM) of the (002) reflection is 0.10 and 0.14 for bulk MoS 2 and electrodeposited MoS 2 nanosheets, respectively. This feature is also in good agreement with random restacking of the exfoliated MoS 2 nanosheets occurred during the drying process [37]. The chemical nature and bonding states of Mo and S in the electrodeposited MoS 2 film were investigated by XPS (Fig.…”

“…The bulk MoS 2 exhibited several XRD peaks due to the reflection of their lattice planes of hexagonal MoS 2 (JCPDS card no. 01-077-1716) [28,37], demonstrating that the bulk materials have several layers. On the other hand, the XRD pattern of electrodeposited MoS 2 film shows only (002) reflection at ca.…”

“…The functional group of the fillers should react with an active group on the polymer chains of the host. One of the suitable methods for chemical bonds formation is the in situ polymerization, where the monomers react with each other and the fillers simultaneously [74][75][76][77][78]. The other way is to modify the host prior to the chemical attachement of the fillers [79].…”

“…For instance, strength and toughness of the composites strongly depend on the interfacial adhesion. Therefore, the dispersion, interfacial adhesion, geometric dimensions, etc., play key roles in mechanical property enhancement [76,[129][130][131]. The mechanical properties can be evaluated by either conventional methods such as dynamic mechanical analysis (DMA) [27,132]; tensile, compression, and shear tests [25,[133][134][135]; or the new methods such as copper grid technique [136,137] and strain-induced elastic buckling instability for mechanical measurements [138][139][140].…”
