The main purpose of the study is to develop a method based on the modified ant algorithm and demonstrate the applicability of its use for building of optimal cargo delivery routes, taking into account the real (non-stationary) dynamics of highdensity traffic on the urban road network in megacities. Within the framework of the proposed method the simulation of building optimal routes, by the example of Kiev, was carried out. The results of study indicate the possibility of using the method for the solution to the problems of efficient management of the freight transportation routing process in the conditions of real dynamics of traffic flows (dense traffic, traffic jam, emergency situations, etc.).

Due to the optimization and efficiency improvement of freight transportation, fuel consumption and environmental damage are reduced. Furthermore, if companies are more profitable, they can afford to invest in environmentally friendly technologies. Consequently, transportation will become more economic, sustainable and environmentally friendly. Three innovative methods and three new software applications have been developed to provide profitable and sustainable transportation: 1) Structure of key performance indicators and software for continuous evaluation of transport activity. If we can measure the performance, we can improve it in the future. 2) Calculation method and software for precise determination of the total prime cost of a given transportation order. It is significant, because knowing the prime cost, the carrier can calculate the expected profit. Since the transport fee includes the profit, profitable operation can be ensured. 3) Optimization method and software to optimize the fuel cost. At first by determining the optimal, most cost-effective petrol station (depending on the unit fuel price and distance of the potential petrol stations). Then the optimal amount of fuel has to be calculated, i.e. the exact amount needed, plus a safe margin to cover unexpected events. Recently the above-mentioned activities have been unsupported by software, therefore this research is original.

Проаналізовано стан автомобільних вантажних перевезень в Україні та країнах-членах Європейського союзу. Досліджено процес транспортування вантажів у мережевому представленні з метою удосконалення схем їх доставки. Запропоновано використання сучасних засобів інформаційних технологій для розв'язання задачі комівояжера комбінаторним способом і транспортної задачі у вигляді дорожньо-транспортної мережі симплексним методом. Розглянуто як збалансовані, так і незбалансовані за обсягами перевезень вантажу транспортні задачі, враховано обмеження на пропускні здатності транспортних комунікацій. Використання удосконалених методів оптимізації міжнародних транспортних перевезень з залученням розроблених комп'ютерних програм дозволить автоматизувати процеси розрахунку і підвищить економічну ефективність перевезень Ключові слова: дорожньо-транспортна мережа, задача комівояжера, транспортна задача, симплексний метод, оптимізація міжнародних транспортних перевезень Проанализировано состояние автомобильных грузовых перевозок в Украине и странах-членах Европейского Союза. Предложено использование современных средств информационных технологий для решения задачи коммивояжера комбинаторным способом и транспортной задачи в виде дорожно-транспортной сети симплексным методом. Рассмотрены как сбалансированные, так и несбалансированные по объемам перевозок груза транспортные задачи, учтены ограничения на пропускные способности транспортных коммуникаций.
