An Improved Protocol to Consensus of Delayed MASs With UNMS and Aperiodic DoS Cyber-Attacks

Abstract: The present research focuses on the issue of leaderfollowing consensus for multi-agent systems (MASs) suffered from uncertain nonhomogeneous Markov switching (UNMS), time-varying delay, and denial of service (DoS) cyber-attacks. Firstly, in contrast with the existing results on MASs, the communication topology is governed by a UNMS jump process in which the transition rates (TRs) of UNMS may be partially known or completely unknown. Secondly, the changes of communication topologies due to frequently aperiodic … Show more

“…The identical consensus of the MASs are achieved by impulsive control strategy. (ii) In [7,18,19] and [26], the authors studied the identical consensus of MASs under DoS attacks, however, the DAs and impulse were not considered. In [8] and [23], the authors researched the identical consensus of MASs under DAs, and yet the DoS attacks were not considered.…”

“…In recent years, multi-agent systems have been widely used in robots, factories, laboratories and networks [ 1 , 2 , 3 , 4 ]. However, because of actuator failure and system uncertainty, intelligent fault-tolerant control of multiple agents has become a research hotspot [ 5 , 6 ].…”

“…Cyber-attacks, including deception attacks (DAs) [18], [19] and denial-of-service (DoS) attacks [20], [23], as communication channels are vulnerable to malicious attacks, have become a serious threat to network security [21], [22]. In general, DAs modify the validity of the transmitted data, while DoS attacks interfere with the sharing network media to disable data transmission.…”
