“…Large core Yb 2 O 3 doped preforms are fabricated through deposition of multiple porous layers (6)(7)(8)(9)(10)(11)(12) at several deposition temperatures (1310-1515°C) with variation of pre-sintering temperature from 1300 to 1450°C followed by solution doping technique using suitable strength of the dopant precursors to get the optimized process parameters for making of fibre with NA around 0.09-0.11.
