An improved method for eliminating deputy peak of BOC navigation signal

Abstract: This paper introduces a new acquisition technology, which can completely eliminate side peaks and obtain better acquisition performance. This method is effective for BOC (n, n) modulated signals. The basic idea of this method is to construct a special local auxiliary signal, cross-correlate it with BOC modulated signal, and use the cross-correlation function curve and autocorrelation function curve to do certain operations to eliminate the secondary peaks of autocorrelation function curve. “…From [43,44], the peak-to-average ratio can be expressed as Equation (51) and R RSC (τ) is denoted as the correlation function for each type of algorithm. It is another method to evaluate the acquisition performance, where the peak-to-average ratio is higher in the same case, indicating a better acquisition performance.…”
