An improved genome of the model marine alga Ostreococcus tauri unfolds by assessing Illumina de novo assemblies

Abstract: BackgroundCost effective next generation sequencing technologies now enable the production of genomic datasets for many novel planktonic eukaryotes, representing an understudied reservoir of genetic diversity.
