An improved 2-D ESPRIT Method for joint DOA-delay estimation

Abstract: For the purpose of estimating DOAs and delays of multipath signals, a novel improved 2-dimensional (2-D) ESPRIT is proposed. The improved method estimates the joint space-time signal subspace firstly. Then FFT and deconvolution is done to map time delay parameters into frequency phase shifts and a modified joint signal subspace is constructed.
