An immunohistochemical study of a lympithelial cyst occurring on the ventral surface of the tongue.

Abstract: A case of lymphoepithelial cyst occurring on the ventral surface of the tongue is presented, together with immunohistochemical findings of lymphoid cell immunoglobulins. The results obtained showed that the predominant immunoglobulinproducing cell was IgG isotype, followed by IgA and IgM. The genesis of the cyst was also discussed.
