An HCA in a GP surgery

Abstract: I have been a healthcare assistant (HCA) for over 3 years now and am based at the Birdhurst Medical Practice in South Croydon, Surrey. The practice is a very busy one with a patient population of about 6000, and is made up of four doctors, three practice nurses and myself. All my colleagues are extremely approachable and we all pride ourselves on the provision of high-quality care. Indeed, the practice is proud to have gained an Investor In People award.
